I use game dev (and game jams) exclusively as an excuse to play around with cursed tech. The cursed tech for this game: Uiua.

I discovered the existence of a "voxels" function in Uiua which renders a voxel image, and decided to turn it into knockoff Minecraft. This game consists of a basic Uiua interpreter compiled to WASM, some TypeScript glue code for state management, and a Uiua program handling the graphics rendering. The respective Uiua program is here. In the actual game the hardcoded Blocks, X, Y, and Z values are commented out and the comment below uncommented which causes the values to be fetched from Rust.
